About New Hope

We're getting married in the New Hope, Pennsylvania, a beautiful and historic town that's well-known for its scenic landscape, artistic heritage and a many shops and restaurants.

The area is filled with centuries-old barns, picturesque covered bridges and sits just a few miles from where George Washington famously crossed the Delaware. Just a short bridge-walk across the river sits Lambertville, New Jersey, a similarly charming town but with a vibe all its own.

While you're here, we hope you're able to enjoy the area as much as we have over the years!

New Hope's Main Street is filled with tons of eclectic and interesting stores--take an hour or so to walk it and you're bound to find something interesting!

Lambertville's Antique Stores

Lambertville has tons of great antique and vintage stores, but our favorite is The People's Store Antique Center--3 floors of all types of art, books, artifacts and odds and ends.

Bucks County Dry Goods

Caitlin's favorite store in the area with a great collection mid-century modern furniture, coffee table books,  and great clothing, among other fun baubles.

Walk the Canal

For a perfect, picturesque activity take a walk, run or bike along the Delaware Canal--just make sure your phone is charged up as you'll want to take a lot of pictures!

Take a Country Drive

There's a lot more to Bucks County--if you've got a car, we'd recommend driving the length of River Road and stopping by other great towns like Stockton, Point Pleasant, Frenchtown and Doylestown.

Visit the michener museum

This castle-like building was once the home of a prominent Bucks County resident, then a prison, and now it's a world-class art gallery!
